Ration Lightweight 30 Days (prototype)

Awesome component!

RLW-30 was a 2,100 calorie restricted calorie 24 hr ration featuring all compressed FD food and beverage bars that could be eaten on the go or reconstituted. For up to 30 days in the field without a major reduction in physical performance.

It was a failure, as in field testing about 20-30% of the guys (if I remember correctly) got major gastrointestinal discomfort eating the bars dry.
