Hey y'all, I've been in the MRE game for a few years now. I am trying to expand the inventory and hunt down some ole' brown bags. I would love to get my hands on a corned beef hash. If anyone has some extras lying around, let me know. I'm open for trades too. I have 2016 ORPs, and a large collection of US from 2006-2018.
Thanks and God Bless!
Jason

Re: WTB or Trade for Brown Bag US MREs
Hey Jason,
I do have one of these, although it only just came into my collection last week. I would consider trading it for a different menu of the same era if you are keen to have a corned beef hash. I do also have an unopened box of 89 packed 91 checked MRE's in the post.
I live in the UK, but if you get stuck give me a shout. I do know a guy who can sometimes get hold of bits and pieces of this era, but it is sent from Europe to me, and then I would need to post again - could work out expensive but depends what you are after. PM me if needed at any point.
Cheers
Jim

Jim,
Thank you for the reply. I only have 1 brown bag in my collection currently, an 89 Ham and Chicken Loaf. I am very nervous to deal with U.S. Customs. I have heard many stories of them removing items, or just confiscating rations completely. I appreciate the thought though, my friend.
Sincerely,
Jason

Yeah, it sounds like a total nightmare. Shame really as we could get some good trades going on. I've found a box of brown baggers from 93, would have been ideal as I'd happily pass on at cost, just would be such a shame for them to be torn open. It's ironic as they've come from the US originally

How many do you want? I have around 6 cases of them dating from 1982 to 1992 (or 93, I can't remember). I ate one of them from my 1989 case, and it was surprisingly still good!
