Tasted the new Cheese Omelet MRE today.

Yummy. Better than the eggs I had for much of my dormitory years. I am pleasantly surprised. Very little cheese, mostly just egg, but the egg tastes good. Should be perfect served with some MRE Refried Beans, Cheese with Jalapenos or Cheese with Bacon, and Tabasco. I should be able to just about squeeze all that into an FRH, or two.

Cool - so you must have gotten one of the newest MREs from the 2005 menus. Dang...they haven't even updated the menus on Natick's site yet. Have you seen any of the other new parts like the chicken fajitas or hash browns?

Beware. Long Life Food Depot is selling an omelet that comes in a retort pouch, but it is NOT the MRE omelet. When I saw it posted on their site a while back, I emailed them and they told me it wasn't an actual MRE entree. They also have peas.

We just need some tuna fish to go with that. Didn't they have tuna fish back in the MCI's? Kman?
