The seller has more like this, anyone know if its real? He has blacked something out and as far as Im aware there hasn't been a patrol ration in years...?

I can see that the Blacked out part reads "UN Consumption only"

The weight and contents would mean that its a single meal pouch.

What is also odd is the TTI on it, looks like he took one off an MRE case and stuck it onto the pouch.

I just realised it says it contains a spoon knife and fork and it also contrains a "chocka blok bar" choka blok is an ice cream...
On further inspection it is the same Temp indicator on MRE cases
They also have "bun cinnamon" in all of them... they are usually "Cinnamon bun" on UK rations and I thought they were retired but maybe thats the US.
Fourth point: it has a full contents sheet on the outside printed to the bag, all rations have an internal sheet but never on the outside.
In conclusion I have no idea if this is real, but the guy has 5 menus, 40 of each so how he manged to get 200 brand new never seen before rations is beyond me? Unless these are trial rations that failed and have been sold off?

Looks a whole lot like the UN 24hr halal ration I have, but smaller..., menu is printed on the exterior of mine. This might help:

Just noticed this on the MRE Mountain facebook page, pretty sure it's the same thing.
