Hi guys,

in this context I want to show one of my eldest rations of my collection, a B3-Unit C-Rat from 1961:

Card box

Overview

B3-Unit Cookies

B3-Unit Cookies stamped January 1961
Image
Chicken Boned
Image
White Bread stamped 7 11 60

White Bread contents

Accessory Packet with cigarettes

Card box insertion
Image
White Bread stamped 8 11 60, not component of the ration

Great pics, mreheater72. So that white bread wasn't in that MCI?

Looks like the one stamped 7-11-60 was in the C-Rat.

The other one (8-11-60) is from somewhere else.

Sorry for confusion! The second "White Bread" is component of another ration!

Great photos. I ate some old c-rats when I went threough basic. Many of them still had cigarettes in them. (This was immediately after Nam.) I never got any with white bread in them, though. It looks like the meal choice was stamped on the box as opposed to being printed on it like the ones we had.
