Today I ate Canadian beef and vegetable stew, very interesting, much better compared to American MRE beef and vegetable stew their meat cubes tasted fake whereas the Canadian version is proper beef cubes, the Canadian hamburger bun tasted very sweet compared to British hamburger buns.
totally recommended
Unfortunately I still hate peanut butter in both versions sorry

Beef and Vegetable Stew is an underappreciated ration IMO. It's not just the best supper main but currently the best supper
menu as a whole. Very glad to see you enjoyed it.

Looking good, but I have to ask how can you hate peanut butter?

Guess its just me, whenever I eat it just makes me feel queasy for some reason, I've tried a few times the result is the same so I avoided it altogether.
We're not a good fit.

Wow that's weird, are you able to eat peanut butter separately?

I had a little bit of it, still doesn't do much for me.
I avoid altogether now, I swap it for other goodies with the guys, for a while we were issued with British Army ORPs with beef jerky in it, quite a few didn't like it so I hoovered it up as I love beef jerky
We all swap a lot.

I work in the British Army Cadets on top of my day job, we are issued exactly the same rations that reserve and regular troops get.
I've heard that FRH is going to be issued, we usually boil them and use the hot water for making a brew after.
Curry is a favourite of troops, we do occasionally get foreign MREs which makes a change.

Nice are the army cadets an auxiliary group. or just a youth group?
