Dave- Give them the true "MRE experience".
Dig a fighting position out in your backyard and have them sit in that to eat. (Only one eats at a time, since they will be on 50% security.)
Spray them with a garden hose every 10 minutes, and make them dig catholes for their waste. Do it after dark, and turn off all the backyard lights.
