MRE Matches

Post by cap174 » Sun Mar 31, 2019 4:50 pm

Does anyone know what the difference between brown, white and green MRE matches are, and around when they were produced?
Thanks! :D

According to the Diamond Match Company, now the major manufacturer of matches in the US, they added green dye to their match heads beginning in 2016 to show the match stick is sourced from "responsibly managed forests."

The color of the match head - red, white, green or brown - is irrelevant, as each has nearly identical formulation.
"I think," said Christopher Robin, "that we ought to eat all our Provisions now, so that we shan't have so much to carry."
