Each bag is 5.5lbs / 2.4kgs, heaver than the Russian mountain rations. These are nothing like the navy Portuguese rations in brown bags, although some of the contents are similar.
Each ration has more than 3,900+ calories. There seem to be only 4 menus available.

Take a look at the last picture, I have personally never seen anyone use plastic containers for the main meals before.
