I know about a company from russia that is supposed to be very accurate for the design and components itself, i never bought from them myself but heard good things.

Also i saw a shop not long ago in the US that offer Repro rations Link: https://reprorations.com/Britain%20WW2/WW2-Britain.htm, again never bought from them myself but the prices seem good and also the rations authentic
But please take these with a grain of salt, as i am no expert in WW2 rations, i know more about the current ones.

Best so far and edible I found in Russia. I've looked for a long time here and there, and started checking out Russian reenactors with really great stuff then I found who makes those rations. People who makes them are into reenactment themselves, I see a week ago they went on a trip to Caucasus and hiked to Elbrus - dressed as Gebirgsjäger's (!) so it's a pretty informed and educated (at least about this subject) guys who started making repro's for personal use.

I had 3 rations from them, you can see pictures here viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9107&p=67291#p67279

Video reviews

Iron ration

Nur für Frontkämpfer im Infanterieverband

Gebirgsjäger Hochgebirgs portion

For beer, wine and other labels, boxes etc. I can say best place would be Atlas, he has it all from money, documents to medical or ammo boxes https://www.atlas-repropaperwork.com/ but only paperwork for them. So it's not MRE done product, but something extra if you want to spice it up a bit

I caught those videos when they were posted a couple months ago. They really do look great. It's fantastic when they are made by someone who is making them because it is what they really love and it's something that they are really into versus they are just trying to make a buck. The quality is much higher that way.

Very good videos. Wonder if the guys in Russia had read/seen Jim Pool's books on Rations of the Wehrmacht during WWII.

Thanks man. Of course :D they are must have for this kind of stuff. We now have both of the books, the volume 2 came recently.

I talk with them about one of the items that melted and they have sent me a screenshoot taken from volume 1 I think. Most of the repro makers or how should I call them use pictures from Pool's book as a reference. They are expensive, but there is a lot of work inside of them, so much informations would take years to gather and it's questionable could you find everything he and his co-authors did.

Yes I agree. Anyone who likes these kind of things or/and tried to make himself one or two things can appreciate the work of those guys.

Links are in video description. We are not sponsored by them, we purchased rations like others did. And I'm happy I did it because now I have this interesting stuff and I also helped those guys a bit in a hope they will make more stuff in the future.
