Vintage coffee from rations.

So, out of all the different types of vintage coffee that y'all have tried, what is your favourite? And how often/not often do you usually find them in good enough shape to drink them? I'm wanting to get some ideas for a project I'm doing.

The "German EPA" Instant coffee and the "Starbucks" instant coffee(not in rations) are my 2 favorites. The Canadian Espresso roast is pretty dang nice! But for availability Id go for Tasters Choice.In every store and the same as in rations. Hope this helps!

I agree, the German EPA coffee is very good to my opinion. I also like the british 24h rations Nescafe and Rombouts Instant coffee.

From what vendor do you typically purchase your Starbucks packs? I am thinking they might be a bit more pricey then other instants. Amazon is rather proud of them (expensive).

Also, have you tried the Nescafe Gold. A coworker swears it's the only instant she will drink. It is not easy to find in the US though. Pretty much Internet Shops only as it is marketed for the UK.

Yes the gold ive had 2 times. Was able to save one for the coffee collection also. It is really smooth and bold. A great coffee. But the french roast instant from Starbucks is as good as a french press full of fresh grounds. Its flipping amazing i hate to admit. I buy them from Target online or from Starbucks online also direct. If you google the item usually a 3rd party can beat them. Just look for coffee instant count. They come in like 7,12, and 20 each, i think.

You shouldn't pay more than $0.80-90 cents each. But it is well worth it. I keep them in my truck and just get free hot water at a convenient store , add 2 sleeves and pow!
If i refill my jumbo mug its 2-3$ per refill. This is a bit cheaper and better coffee. Low acids.

Thanks for the clarification Eistee. I just mentioned UK since that is where she would purchase it when she was there but it is indeed marketed to a number of European markets. And I agree, that is a fantastic price.

I will go to my store again tomorrow and see what the price actually is, as i was just guessing with the 13€, will be probably under 10€ even.
