Woodland Camo Blanket

Post by housil »

Guys, can you help me with this. I saw a couple of times in military stores these blankets what are (allegedly) Marines "emergency" blankets. Made from parka fabric with a filling:

Any idea if they are real issued and where to get?

Just saw this a year or so late.

Was the mystery solved?

I'd be interested in finding out what these are too. These could be medical blankets to treat hypothermia patients if the caption is right. They are made out of parka material? Wonder what type of parka material; synthetic nylon, gortex, etc???? :?
