Lucky Strike

Post by Tulahex »

Just cracked open a c rat accessory pack and it had Lucky Strikes in it! Know there is nothing rare about these but I’m so damn happy! :D

That is awesome! :) I have opened about 3 of these now and only got the Marlboro Red's in them, but I have one more never opened accessory pack with cigs so I am hoping for something other than the reds  but either way it is way cool! Great find man! :)

Lucky Strike's were featured in Band of Brothers.
Compete video can be found here. It can be viewed at the 9 minute mark.

Very neat! I just got an accessory pack with the same (different packaging though, no logo). It's a great feeling, cracking open a piece of history. Amazingly all the contents seem good, even the creamer.

I used to make up "CARE" packages with C-rat cigarettes and other items. I parachuted them into tiny native villages in Cambodia. That was 46 years ago - and the cigs were stale then.

That’s interesting. I have seen pictures of the “generic” cig packages. I wonder who was contracted to produce them. I have five more accessory packs like this and am trying to resist opening them!
