As promised, a photo. There's a DIY kit here, some russian roulette style chewies (3 pack with one being extremely sour) and it turns out I even had one more baggie of konpeito (them tiny rock sugar candies) :)

Come one, people, shell out the dough XD

Dose anybody Know of another forum or venue we can share this event on? It seems to be needing more views. This is a STEAL for the items being offered! If I had 400$ I would bid in a heartbeat! This is an amazing opportunity for a new channel reviewing, or a veteran collector! This is an amazing bundle!

As i said, bidders that agree to put their bids together could bring more total money to the cause.
But for that to work, they must declare that they agree to share the prizes with another member when putting their bids together.

Holy cow! I somehow have managed to NOT see this post until just now! This is an awesome auction for an awesome cause. $375 or $400 would be a very generous bid for the original auction, but with all the great additions it's an absolute steal! If my family and I weren't in a very tenuous fiscal state right now I'd definitely join in on the craziness! But there's a couple more days left, let's see what happens!!!

The pooling of resources is a great idea (two or three people could make less painful-to-the-wallet donations), the only problem would be figuring out who gets what from that haul. I'm almost thinking that this could have been done as a small series of smaller auctions. Of course the excitement and generosity of everyone turned it into this mega-package! Hopefully someone has enough dough on hand to make it as spectacular as it should be.

And, I know Bob had put together a bunch of "grab bag" boxes a few months back to help offset some of the costs of his mother's treatments. Maybe we can see something like that happen again? I'm sure it's a lot of work on his part, but it was a very cool thing to see.

Thank you for starting this sourwes! Great idea!!!

The original Lot was for just the 3 BlackDog 24hr Rations, but the response of members wanting to participate was so great I didn't want to disrupt the flow of the auction. I did receive some messages from members that the auction was out of their price range but how could they help. I apologize for that; my intention was for everyone to be able to participate. BlackDogBobs grab boxes are indeed a great way to support him. Regardless, the support from the group has been great and I thank you all very much for participating. The current Lot is amazing and a great value at the current bid of $375

It was (and IS) a great idea! Hopefully enough people will be able to step up and make all this generosity really pay off! This is indeed an awesome thing to happen here!
