(Sorry if I'm in the wrong spot)
Hey guys, I gotta serious question regarding MRE (and any ration really) prices, is there any way to get MRE's and the like at lower prices? As much as I want to invest into doing ration reviews and the like, I really don't have much in the lines of money, even with the occasional art commission I get, most of it goes to medicine I need, so yeah. D: If anyone has any pointers, I'd really appreciate it because I'm a little clueless still.

Likes coffee, rations, and cheese. Will probably print things for coffee.

eBay sometimes has some very good random sales on cases of MRE's, and there are often cases on eBay that are on auction as well. Just search "mre" or "mre cases" or "rations". Since you're in the US the shipping shouldn't be too bad compared to those of us who are in Canada or "across the pond".
There is even a seller on eBay who is selling cases of HDR's for a very good price.

Thanks for the info! I'll be sure to check out there! Thank you!

I'm not sure what you're paying now, so I'm not sure what "cheaper" means. Here's a yardstick for you, though: brand new issue MREs are right at $8 in military commissaries, and TOTMs are about $5. That's true either singly or by the case.

Best bet is to order a whole case on eBay. Even at $80/case you're only paying $6.67/MRE which is really good. make sure the seller shows exact pictures of the item and has a really good description of the product. That way you can ensure your getting style MREs that have been stored properly.

Here in Australia one relatively fresh mre goes for $30!
A case is like 250-300

Go to eBay, search for mre cases by lowest price to highest. Make sure to put your ZIP code in so it factors in shipping. That's usually where you'll get killed in terms of price.
Your best bet is also to look around on craigslist and build up connections in your area of people you can refer to for them. I met one lady here who gave me some 2014-15 cases for $30 a pop. Since then, I've never had to look on eBay since her boyfriend is in the Marine Corps and brings cases of them home often.

You might also check your local Army-Navy shop. For me I'm finding some for about $10 $15 and a lack of shipping is a plus.
