My husband usually visits this site often, I completely list as a house wife. My husband is currently very I'll and the hospital. And I'm trying to get him some of his military food. Our home was devastated by a fire, have yet to tell him. But if anyone on this site page has of the military food things they don't need or want. Please let me know, just trying to do something my husband loved.

Re: Looking for help!
I apologise for waisting my time, was just wanting to do something for my husband. He is getting better, but will need to stay in hospital. Can't stay on tent. But I'm sorry if my post bothered anyone. Just wanted to make him feel better.

First off, this is just my 2 cents on the matter.
A couple problems here.
If your husband was sick, and is getting better, that's great. But you said he was very ill. So within, what, three days, he just all of a sudden gets better. That doesn't add up. This forum is very much a community, and very much a respectful place. However your first post was asking for free MREs. If you house really did burn down, one how would he not know, and two, wouldn't you have better things to be doing. The reason nobody replied is because of a couple things. You made no express wish to do exactly what this community it for, talking about MREs, sharing knowledge and enjoying a couple good laughs. It is not strictly for getting stuff. People do care about the community members here. But it sure seems like you are just begging, not enjoying the community as it is supposed to be. And don't do all this boo-hooing about wasting your time, it doesn't make you look better. If it matters that much I will be willing to sell you stuff. Gain a reputation as a good person before you start asking for favors. I'm relatively new here, but I sure didn't just come here to get handouts. Anyways, have a good day, and I hope you find what you are looking for.
Cheers,
Simon Cross
P.S. Anybody please do tell me if I am in the wrong here.

Re: Looking for help!
I have to agree with Simon. No need to apologize, Christopher. I don't quite understand why you feel a need to apologize simply because no one contacted you. You're certainly not a bother and I'm sure everyone would be happy to have you here, but it's important to note that this is a community, not a begging party. I've seen a lot of people come through here, ask for free stuff and then disappear, never to be seen again. So naturally we'd be a little cautious about giving things out to a newcomer. I'll go for the big one here and ask, what's keeping you from purchasing some rations/ration related items from eBay? I know your house was destroyed by a fire, but I think getting all that straightened should be a priority.
That said, I hope you choose to stick around and join in on some of the discussions we have here.
