Coming up with a big backstory is pretty excessive.

Hey guys
The cat is out of the bag I did buy it on eBay.
There was an estate sale close to me from a military collector and all I got was a Vietnam era mess kit with bent prongs.

Honesty and integrity impress people a lot more than stories that aren't true.
I was and still am a very very small member of this community, but this has to be the greatest group of people I've ever met. Gave me the confidence to start doing written and picture reviews and when I got good feedback on those reviews I started doing video ones as well.
One mustn't feel the NEED to impress people here on this forum. We're all here for the same thing, our love of rations. We're happy for anyone who gets something new or is selling something unique.
