It has to do with the postal worker at each intersection..they are supposed to scan all.oacjages at every step..a lot of lazy Postal workers...thats the answer on why sometimes there is no update btwn places.

The bigger hubs use automated scanners and unfortunately if the tracking barcode is not in the best spot it won't see it.

Never had any problems from sending or rec. a package from Germany, except time. Poland, on the other hand, gets individual ration packs into US, with not a blink. Packages from Britain will be opened and inspected, but arrive OK. Go figure.

It's all randomn...tgey all have the chance of getting stopped..All countries have issues..from October to Feb.. Germany was especially strict this year and holidays made it worse.. But all countries have issues sometimes...its just a crapshoot..

Just remember to list on customs forms something like Camping supplies or such..dont list rations or food..
