sorry no pictures of the stuff inside but it contained a RSP

btw SR 89 was the year the ration was fielded.
SR means:strids porsjon= combat ration

ate a bunch of these back in the army,better than cold container dinner and rock frozen oranges in the arctic

I wonder how well those things hold up over time? They really look like a French RCIR, but the inner contents are like a cross between RCIR and German EPA entrees.

here is what the things is: sweet crackers,sugar cubes,chocolate bar,tomato soup,fruit soup,2 coffe,1 tea,hot chocolate,cuttlery pack,rsp,pytt i panne=potatoes and meat,green box=survival cake blocks.liver paste,strawberryjam,rasberryjam.

btw the main meals in the gold cans are made in Germany by the same producer that makes the epa

btw in late 1990s the rsp and the pytt i panne was swoped with the first run of real frezze dryed dinners,these was in silver color and bulky not flat.
