Unable to upload images to the forum

Hello,

Whenever I try to attach an image to a post, I get the following error: "Failed to move uploaded file.".

Seems like a server side issue (improper permissions?) so I wonder if anyone else is having this issue. Hopefully it's not just me.

I tried exactly that, and this time I'm getting a different error. It says "Could not upload attachment to ./files/2381_2008cb501aa2fb17ca5a6528efd70b26.".

I just downloaded that picture you posted externally - let me try to upload/post it here...

Ok...so that didn't work. When I downloaded your file from that service, I received a 155K file named "2edpphv.jpg". When I tried to upload it, I received an error saying that the server was expecting a ".jpg" file (based on the name) but instead received a .png file.

It's also curious to note that your screenshot shows a 3.8M .jpg file. I'm wondering if your .jpg should really just be named ".png" and that might fix it.

Thanks for the help all. I ultimately decided to re-upload the files to my computer from my phone and try again and it finally worked. That's pretty strange considering all I did was rotate them using the Photos application on Windows 10. I did it again and this time it uploaded. Very strange for sure.
