eBay: 2016 DoP Case of British ORPs (Shipping Worldwide!)

Post by SentientTootsieRoll » Thu Feb 23, 2017 4:12 am

I purchased a case of 10 ORP rations directly from a seller in the UK for a little over $300 shipped to the US, which doesn't seem too bad considering. Case A and B are offered. The listing is only for one case, but the seller promptly relisted it after I purchased mine, so I don't know how many they have left in stock. No affiliation.

EDIT: Another seller has listed 8 cases of ORPs here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-2016-BRITIS ... Sw2gxYriEi
Same price.

Thanks for the link! I saw these too, but wanted to say that the pictures he uploaded of menu 11-20, indicate those rations were packed on 04/2015. Maybe just a stock photo but I would ask for clarification!

Hate when info about what they're actually selling isn't directly obvious from the title and photo.
Further down in the description before the menu list is says:
Pick A box (1-10) or B box (11-20)

That's about the going rate more or less. $330ish is what I paid for 2 cases.

Good idea, I hadn't noticed. I'm sure the food is still good, but I didn't want to wait too long in fear of it being sold by the time I would receive a response. Since it looks like he has 8+ cases in stock, I would've asked, but I didn't know it at the time. Nonetheless, I'm still super excited about receiving these!

Wow, that's a far better deal! That's about what I just paid for this one case. But they rarely pop up on eBay (I've been looking for about a month) so I jumped on this as soon as I saw it.

How much are we talking for a case? Most of the offers I've received and seen on eBay are usually $50+ for one ration. So, that would result in about $500+ (including shipping) for just 10 rations.

In my experience, I have seen most cases of 10 go for between $250-$300 when you factor in shipping to the USA.

I don't know how to read dates on the cases, but I can confirm that the case I received was packed in 2016. The entrees had DoP listed at early 2016, and most of the items had expiration dates ranging from 2018 to 2019. Not too bad! I broke open menu #17 today, and I was so impressed! I love the way they package these and the food tasted great! I hope to get some overviews posted soon.

He doesn't list on UK eBay no fair!

Looks like he's putting a bit of a premium on as a case of 10 goes for about £100 usually which is $125 so I wouldn't pay $250 for one.

But his shipping is cheap. Best I found was £100 to post a case of 10.

It's confusing with the 20 menus as they only come in the 10 cases and then 35 cases on a pallet (350 rations!)
