BEEF JERKY!!! NOM NOM NOM!!!!
There is something to be said about the Jerky they use in MRE's, while delicious and tender. As it ages, it tends to get leathery. This is not that time, still plyable and taste of beef. This one had no added flavor.

FIRST STRIKE BAR! Chocolate flavor. It's basically an over size Power Bar. Taste like a mix of Hershey chocolate bar and a Nestle Crunch bar with the bits of puff rice.

Tortillas, Plan, cause reasons! I, as many do, feel special, when you can unfold them and not have them split! It taste like a Tortilla, sprayed with Government!

Cheese Spread with Jalapenos!!! I'm addicted to Government Cheese, at least the MRE ones. This always has a pleasant Cheese taste with a slight bite of Jalapenos!

Au Gratin Potatoes, It seems as of late, MRE's have been surprising me! They are tender, but firm enough not to goto mush. The Cheese sauce they are in taste grate, it's almost as good as home made!

Meatballs in Marinara Sauce, Maybe its the sauce they use, but it reminds me of Chief Boyardee! These really stand on there own, no need to add anything. The meatballs are seasoned, not just balls of meat in a sauce.

Over all a well worth buying MRE if you see it! I'll certainly be getting more!

Nice review!
Yeah I love when I get that "beef snack strip" too. And the jalapeño cheese. I have that exact one waiting in the case just not eaten yet. Might have to be my next one

That's for all the positive feedback. I have lots more still to come. I also have a few Russian ones I got lined up and ready.
