Ok got this old civy MRE. Dated 9138. Beans with pork and noodles. Dont see it in the 99 menu. Got 3 other ones,they are on the menu.

Hi 223. That looks like a Sopakco civilian MRE. I've seen a couple of ebay auction for "beans with pork and noodles" MREs/entrees. I think that might have been one of the entrees that Sopakco produced as an MRE test entree. The govt. must have decided not to go with that particular entree and so Sopakco just decided to get rid of their inventory by packing them in their civilian MREs.

That's just my guess.

Yap, can see that my Sopacko MREs have the same type of packing too, clear outer plastic wrapping.

Btw how does it taste?
