Chinese KT-07
This was one of the "larger" type of chinese mres I have come across. The chinese rations are all quite small, it would take atleast 4 to fill me up...
It contained tiny bite of wet packed beef jerkey, 3 cookies, 2 cereal bars, 2 types of pickled vegis, oatmeal, 2 bites of chocolate and 2 pieces of gum. The jerkey was alright. The cookies and cereal bars were good, not sweet at all. I am unfamiliar with what the picked vegis were, one was spicy cabage like and the other was leafy and tasted close to regular american pickles. The green leaf mush looked unappealing, however I enjoyed the flavor. Unfortunatley I ruined the oatmeal by adding too much water. The oats were finely ground with only a few bigger oats visable, it was good again not sweet. The chocolates were just plain ole dark chocolate. Over all I enjoyed this ration, however for what you get these things are way overpriced.

It is said that it is "Nutrition Supplement Food" according to the package of that ration.
It does not seem to be the ration for a standard meal.
The following is the Chinese of a package. Please try Google Translate.

Cool, thanks for sharing! I have one of these on the way that I found on eBay. Kind of nice to see what it has inside.

Hey, did you get that off of ebay? They're currently one on there for less than $20 USD (Shipping included) It looks like you got menu A.
The anchor behind the red star, along with the blue camouflage, makes me think this ration is issued to elements of the People's Liberation Army Navy.

Good luck and may your rations stay unspoiled!
