I was reading a news article here in the UK, and I wondered if I could tap into peoples' firearms knowledge. Anyone Know what the guy in the pic is wielding? I have not seen anything quite like it.
Looks like a cool little gun (it's billed as a personal defense weapon). It has the same action as the G36 and fires s specially designed armour-piercing round.

I was just thinking that this sounded like a competitor to the FN P90 when I saw this quote in the wikipedia article:
