What kind of Dutch ration did I buy ?

Post by SNiiP3R » Tue Oct 25, 2016 7:16 pm

Just got these.... It looks like the Dutch ration I bought from surplusandoutdoors.com, but it's not the same one.

This one is good until 2018. It has lunch & dinner, but in cans not pouches like the one I had before.
It comes with 2 breakfasts ? Which I find very strange.
Also, this one has 3 bags of biscuits, 3 pates, a jam, 2 soups, 2 cocoa beverages, 2 iced tea drinks.

If you don't want it, i'll take it from ya :wink:

But in all seriousness what is this ration? I don't know, but Gundog did make a video on the breakfast/lunch version :)
In his video, he states they sometimes come in boxes or bags and doesn't come with main meals.

I hope this helps! Cheers!
Good luck and may your rations stay unspoiled!

I've had the one in Gundog's video. That ration comes with a chocolate bar, mine unfortunately does not :| but I got a second breakfast? As if the breakfast module came from the Dutch Roek ration. Some weird mix I have, unless this is some new type of ration.

Yeah, and only 1 jam. I'm still not sure what type of ration this is. Definitely a 24 hour ration though.

I think this is the new version of an older "modular experimental ration" obviously current production. See below thread;

Did the cans came separate or inside the bag?

The cans were inside. I also got the same ration but instead of cans, it comes with pouches. Also has an expiration date of 2018 on them.
