Ever since I got a full case of 14 IMPs from BlackDogBob, I've been slowly eating all of my 13 IMPs. I already consumed 5 and 2 more to go. I did not review any of them. Some were actually covered here already, so I'm not too worried about those.

This may shock and appall some of you, but I eat rations without a thought to reviewing. The main attraction of them is convenience, so taking a bunch of pictures and composing a review is counter-productive. Also, I'm usually at a festival or camping and have had (more than) a few wobbly pops by that time. No guilt here.

I Love my mre's..no better food while you're on the tractor baling hay...but I do the occasional review aswell...

I one time opened a UGR Blueberry recently and realized the camera wasn't rolling...whoops. :roll: :oops:

One other time, I ate an RCW at this place called Bok Tower Gardens here in FL (in a town called Lake Whales) and took pictures.. but I still haven't shared them..hehehe :twisted:


If I ever confessed the things I have eaten off-camera....!

Well, Ruleryak & I shared a Menu H 2014 DoP CR1M in Doswell off camera - not to mention all the other things we opened. But who cares..? It's what fuels the fire..! I sometimes open a Ration and eat it off-camera an hour before opening another one that I film. I smoke MCI cigs off-camera often.

At Burning Man, I shared 1962 MCI smokes with random people in the desert - I ate PLA, Lithuanian, US M.O.R.E. Hot Weathers, 1996 RCW's, and 1998 LRP's out there too.


As long as you don't forget the memory of enjoying that Ration, it is never in vain.

I just eat them. Usually aboard my kayak while fishing. I've done still photo reviews, but at age 70, I don't even want to try video editing and posting. My main regret about that is not being able to show the way I use an FRH.

I'll say this Rocky, you make TOTMs interesting with your kayak reviews. I can only wonder how cool one of your classic reviews would be with say a French RCIR or a Polish SRG....? :wink: 8)

We are eating MREs pretty often as dinner or at work so I review only things, that were "special" or new to forums, but not a #8 the 100s time...
