Looking for IMP's, foreign rations, or any US mre

Post by Colinmrelanson » Tue Aug 16, 2016 10:06 pm

I've just recently taken up MRE's as a hobby and have been hooked for the past couple of months. I can only find US MRE's online and haven't had much luck with anything else. Im currently looking for an IMP or any foreign MRE, will pay for it. If anyone can help I'd great appreciate it!

How expensive is the shipping?

It's up there. I normally don't buy just one item. I have found that the more you buy, the lower the shipping cost per item. For example, my very first order from the was only 3 items which was around $65 US, but the shipping was $138 US. My next order was 12 items and the shipping was only $172 US. So the first order I spent $46 per item in shipping charges. The second order was only $14.35 per item in shipping. So, the more you buy, the lower the shipping cost per item is. It's best to buy in bulk if you can.

That said, at the meetup in Doswell in October, I will have over 100 international rations for sale plus the 300 Russian IRPs. So if you come to the meetup, you won't have to pay high shipping AND run the risk of customs destroying the package.

Thank you! I'll check the site out. I've been looking for IMP's also, but I'm having difficulty finding somewhere. The search will continue though!

Canadian websites might ship to the US. Sadly, I don't know of any Canadian Websites that sell them. IMPs can be a pain.
Good luck and may your rations stay unspoiled!

Welcome to forums! Like Bob mentioned, surplus and outdoors is a great place to pick up the UK, French and Dutch rations, though shipping is expensive, so save up and make it worth your while and stock up. The shipping is crazy fast for international shipping. As for IMPs, they can be pretty tough to get in the US. From time-to-time, people here in the forums get them and offer them for trade or sale, so my advice would be to become active on here, participate in some discussions, and odds are that someone will gladly help you out with some IMPs when they get some extras. Again, welcome to the group, I think you'll like it here. There's a great group of people on here. :)
