EPa "Typ I" vs. (advanced) "Typ 1"
EPa "Typ I" vs. (advanced) "Typ 1"
For ~10 years we (German Army "Bundeswehr") had their new EPas Typ 1 -19.
In 2012 EPas now changed from Roman number "Typ I, II, III..." to now Arabic numbers and with their numbers they also changed the contents and what I have heard to now 12 different EPas.
So what is new/different?
New numbers it´s bigger It weights a little more Typ I as you know it The new Typ 1 with new pouches Typ I entrees Typ 1 different entrees Typ I pate + marmelade Typ 1 still the same amount Typ I satchets Typ 1, note much more sugar now (8 satches), just one butter replacment but now a cereal bar Typ I canned bread, crackers ("armor sheets"), "snack" (either fruit salad or semolina) Typ 1, still canned bread, just different labeling, new crackers, no snack anymore These are now brand new in the EPas:
Muesli and a dessert creme Also new beverages and a cappuccino

Very interesting. I wonder if they have improved any entries and they are even tastier now

They come also now with (some) new entrees. Maybe I´ll get a new Typ 3 case soon. They have as entree Spiralnudeln in Hackfleischsoße (noodles in Bolognese sauce) and Erbseneintopf mit Mettwürstchen (Pea stew with "mettwurst")SNiiP3R wrote:I wonder if they have improved any entries and they are even tastier now

Great info & pics! I am anticipating a new Type myself. I think it's Typ 8 that has currywurst....I'd kill someone for that LOL! Curry wurst mit spatzle unt salat mit Bier was my favorite meal at the Unteroffizer/ Feldwebel club
