It is different and I think I would eat it different in the field unlike the review. I actually like the portion sizes of the mains, especially with about a half cup of rice it's very filling and yet you don't get that heavy feeling from eating too much so you can still work. There have been a few times after eating a 300/400g can of something or a freeze dried mountain house type deal where you add a pound of water and all I want to do is take a nap.

The desserts in theses are very similar to the one i had in the Singapore ration, and speaking of Singapore...I just got another one and this time with the accessory pack!
