Yeah, the one thing about the "extra calorie packs for cold and hot climates", depending where you are of course, there is a theme from most of the countries that use them is the use of off the shelf commercial items. It almost seems like an afterthought really. I think the Canadian LMC is the only one that actually uses any military type packaging. The US simply uses a clear plastic bag like an A-Pack. Go figure eh?

Haha. You guys think the Spanish cold weather look commercial, wait until you see the US Kosher Holy Day Suppliment rations. Talk about off the shelf.

Sorry to say this is a false ration is not official. I've seen sold on ebay at a high price.
All products are of Spanish supermarket chain food and great success, Mercadona. Food is of very good quality, but nowhere are those used in the Spanish army and its rations.I feel give this bad news.

The seller bought "Mercadona" large packages, divided and stuffed into a cardboard box,It has nice label with flag of Spain, simply  .
At least not indicate seller in the sale that belongs to the Spanish army ration. Still it seems like a big scam sale.
My weekly grocery shopping I make in "Mercadona"

The real price of this "ration" is very low .

Greetings to all,

Thanks for the heads up, I was going to buy one, but it seemed kind of suspicious having all those civilian looking items inside.
