Hey all! Our friend Steve1989 just went over 100k subscribers on YT! I always wanted one of us to do that and will continue to support the others till they accomplish the same. You guys are awesome. Great job Steve...now don't die eating that old stuff so you can hit 200k!!

I did notice that too. Thanks for posting about it Gundog! This is absolutely crazy! For the first time, one of our own (a full-time ration reviewer) has cracked 100k subs! I think it's safe to say that Steve has genuinely and truly hit the BIG TIME on YouTube. Just goes to show not only how great and entertaining Steve's videos are, but also how far our little "oddball" community has grown over the past few years. Before you know it they'll change the warnings on the genuine MRE bags and we'll be seeing them being sold in grocery stores and department stores all over the place! Okay, THAT might not happen, but still, it's a good time to be a fan of rations!

Thank you for posting this, Gundog!

Could have never done this without you folks, thank you so much for all the help & support - before YT and after.

I'm still in shock over it all - I remember talking to a good friend on the phone back in January and saying "Man, if I work hard enough in 2016, I may get to 10k subscribers by next year!" - and that felt like some grandiose and un-attainable goal.. yet it was a positive and inspiring goal.

I don't know where to begin on who to thank!
Kman for starting it all and everything he's done for me.
Housil for his warm welcome years back and his awesome friendship.
Ruleryak for everything you've done for me - the friendship, the museum, putting up with my manic babblings (not the only one who puts up with me but certainly takes the brunt of it.. haha!)
Treesuit for his amazing advice back in 2011 and how much he helped forum members with Rations over the years.
Gundog, Gschultz, stickyfingers, Gusto, and the other guys on YT. We are on the frontlines of YT and only a few know what that's like! Amazing people - you are inspirations.
Amazing friends and fellow Rationaughts (stole the term from para..!) like BlackDogBob, Laughing_Man, Elandil, Norton, parafireboy, Craig, Ratattoo, NNF, Asger, CRO CSO, Rocky, Jerry, so many many more - I always forget names when I really want to remember them so my apologies for all of those I have neglected to mention.

It would have never happened like it did without the fellas here on MREinfo. I have you all to thank forever - and I will always hold this place close - it's home.

Oldest thing I've eaten was a 24 year old BBQ sauce with Ground Beef in 2008, Don't think I'll be working up to your level, the smokes I'd do those though
