Greetings, just received a shipment of IRPs from Moscow I,ve been waiting 2 months for
The good news: it was unmolested by customs
The bad news: the box looks like the postal carrier kicked it across Europe
It contained 10 rations and I think the pkg is just a little too heavy for safe travel that distance without some bruising. As much my fault as anyone's; you live, you learn...
My last shipment was 5 rations and ariived in half the time in good shape
I opened the 1st one and there is definately an"off" smell...uh oh!
Will inspect the full shipment and add details later...Cheers!

Firast I´m happy you git and and I´m sorry with you you got it in this bad shape. You are right, if it is "heavy", they just kick it around...

Re: Russian IRP shipment
The verdict is in...The IRPs seemed to have held up ok considering how beat up the box was.
I opened the 3 that looked the worst and only 1 item was damaged, accounting for the smell like a dirty gym sock hanging in a slaughterhouse. And of course it was the kasha, my favorite thing in the meal lol...

Re: Russian IRP shipment
Is there any differences between the rations in the blue packaging compared to the ones in the camouflage packaging? I have been wondering about getting a Russian ration, but don't know too much about them.
Good luck and may your rations stay unspoiled!
Re: Russian IRP shipment
The blue Pak is the "emercom" ration...like the Russian FEMA..The cameo pak is for police usually but there mostly similarly packed. The Russian Federation has basic guidelines for rations and the many companies that make them all make their own versions. But my opinion is for around $20 for a 24hr ration is they're a great choice. Shipping times from Russia can be crazy slow though...
