German Reflective Packaging
Am I alone in believing that the reflective packaging often seen in German EPA rations is terrible? I would think that every time the sun catches it you're potentially giving your position away, anyway I'd like to know your thoughts on the matter.

Obviously some left-wing politician buy them to sabotage our own military...JasterSkirata wrote:... anyway I'd like to know your thoughts on the matter.

They found a new supplier than sales for 1 ct (?) less but the amount wasn´t to high so they could make any demand in color. The beverage pouches were shiny all the time, but all other where made with a non-reflecting "coating". That was we we had 495.000 troops.
Now with all these cut downs to now 177.000 they buy at the regular market what they get.

My only thought when I saw kiwi dude review one was: "I'd be carrying this ration scared that when my unit stopped for a chow break an enemy sniper would catch the glint of my Hartkek package and take my head off"

Re: German Reflective Packaging
177,000 standing military? That's barely more than the Versailles treaty allowed. I'm not in favor of having a massive and overfunded military in peacetime like the United States does but 177,000 isn't even sufficient for self defense

This happens, if left wings, former communistic politicians join your government. They still destroy your western culture and country...JasterSkirata wrote: but 177,000 isn't even sufficient for self defense
