Hash Browns w Bacon has to be one of the best MRE entrees out there. And good luck finding it outside of this MKS Case unless you're getting the side entree-size counterpart. And most likely it will only be half as fresh as this masterpiece here.

I cannot stress it enough how great it is to have a case of MRE's where 1/3rd of the menus are breakfast menus. It only makes sense - and to know I can get a case of these things in such a short time. Order it Tuesday - and it will be in the mail for when I am off work and ready to hit the road camping by Friday - and most likely it will even be in a day sooner than that.

I truly love these MKS MRE's!

Here is the one I had driving home from a rained out camping trip.

I was tired, exhausted, and then on top of it - was caught in some traffic. So what did I do? I had an MKS MRE - and a breakfast one at that.

I apologize I didn't get actual inner pictures of this one.

Ate the Maple Patty cold - it was actually really good even not being heated! I needed simplicity - and trying to drive whilst working an FRH is just crazy so this one was enjoyed as simply as possible.

It had a Zapplesauce in it - was such a nice addition for being tired & on the road.

Mixed the Deep Roast with the Cocoa Mix - a classic combo - hot or cold!

This was an experience that would have been sortof a drag, and this MRE made it a nice one!

Now here was a special experience - having a MKS MRE out camping on a canoe - and fishing! Perfect combo!

This thing was so easy to prepare & eat out on the water. It was amazing how well this one worked out, really. And I gotta say that Trans Fat-Free Wheat Snack Bread is a real treat - it's more moist and flavorful than the "old school" WSB!

Gotta say - this one took the cake on experiences from this case of MRE's.

Again, no pictures of the inside of the Zapplesauce - a little difficult to achieve without a tray to put it out on!

An excellent meal - and I would love to do this again!

Okay folks, it's 4:30 am and it's time to try & get some sleep.

Hope you enjoyed this set of reviews - and know this.. http://www.marketplace.com is legit - absolutely the gold standard in getting commercial MRE's and I cannot wait to get another case of their MKS MRE's! They also have a nice little variety of other MRE options - but this one is their premium product!

Thanks so much for checking this out!

-Steve

PS - I have one of these left and am going to share those pics on this thread very soon! :)

I've talked with them via Facebook messenger and given them the contact details of a couple of online surplus stores here in the UK I've bought govt MREs from - the idea being they could possibly use places like sofmilitary.co.uk as a UK retail presence.

Making it a damn sight easier to import...
