Thanks to MREinfo and little introduction

I didn't know where to post my thanks so I'm doing it here. My collection looks more serious (turkey tetrazzini is also from Gundog sent to my friend and coleague CRO CSO who hook me up with the rest of the rare rations). Gundog and Steve had been very helpful answering all my questions and feeding my curiosity about all this hobby of ours. Also some of members contacted me via pm and welcoming me to the forum and I appreciate that a lot. This community is really amazing.

CRO CSO and I work for same NGO MyLife4Kids that participated in 2015. and 2016. rally Budapest-Bamako and that's how we made contact with USA MRE's in the first place, for more information and pictures about our organization visit our FB page in my signature. Next year people who organize Budapest-Bamako decided to do USA-Mexico rally called Baja 4000 that we can't drive but we have more time to prepare new vehicle (NISSAN PATROL GR Y60 1990) for 2018. edition of Budapest-Bamako where we already registered.

This is not just rally drive we also gather things to give children in Africa.




Meeting with Commander of Africa and all Universe on the road we gave him Croatian soccer tshirt among other things


Giving people some Croatian memorabilia


In some stages Mali Army provides security, and we feed the poor guys sometimes with MRE packs if we have them




And also in Mauritania


We are trying to get sponsorship from Tac-Bar but it seems the are not that interested because we are non-USA residents. This is the video with stages and countries we drived and will also drive in 2018. hopefully

Wow, that's all so amazing - how do you ever find time to do ration reviews for us?

I was just a logistic and base contact this year, it's CSRO CSO who went both years on the rally, us two are a friends a long time now and always had similar interests that only differs in woman he likes brunettes and I like blondes. The drive itself takes around 15 days and 15 days to drive back home, some teams continue to Dakar, some sell their cars and go back by plane.

This year was cool because two cars went to Africa and both had live GPS track combined with a map, but we could not use that much public because terrorist threat. I had a panel looking like this




And being here and making reviews or just chatting is more like vacation and calming my nerves plus I got him to join the forums

Nah man, I had 4 MRE's in my whole life it's actually hard to get them in Croatia, sometimes they are on our ebay-like market but not all the time, it's stil how would you say "exotic". For the rally we got some just in case and that's it, some where donated by Slovenians, a friends from 2015. rally drive.

We all got hooked on moroccan beduine cuissine and in presentation events in Croatia we mostly serve tajine to people



and some dish made in Sahara

Cuisine in Morocco is midl hot and too mouch spicy... In Mauritania we make our own meal and in Mali it was hot very hot..guys on the border give us some kinde of spageti but with alot of chili peppers... it was so fucking hot that i didnt try to put it in my mouth, but my best man try it with about 2l of water hehehehehe.. when i see him i just trow that behinde me because it was dark so I pretended to eat

Litlle driving with Mauritanian army in Adrar mountains... there was about 10 maybe more Toyotas and me in the midle of them so it was so dificult to drive that i lost them i dont know maybe 2 or 3 times but before them i lost my best man in 1 sec so I joined the army, thinking that I would be safe with them, with GPS i have not been on the right track and after about an hour and a half found the best man and the Hungarians and we all together with the military concluded that we are lost in the mountain, so we had to come back some 30 kilometers to the right path and the entire stock was 160 km, which lasted about 17 h drive....
