"DIN" means "Deutsches Institut für Normung" or "German institut for standardization".
"Anything" you can produce over here, refers to a "DIN" so any manufacturer producing it, must follow the same (technical) rules and specifications.

A great video! I was never a big fan of rye-bread, but I tried this in an EPA and it was actually very good. It was very tasty with the margarine and the meat products. Next time I will try them with the jams.
