French "Thon en salade"

Post by housil » Mon Mar 07, 2016 7:51 pm

Was on night shift, so not much time for cooking.
On top of my French entrees stack was this, "Thon en salade" (Tuna)

Tuna and vegtables (potatoes, carrots, corn)

That dish had really big junks of delicious tuna in a nice, lemonlike, "creamy" sauce, the vegetables were still firm. Great dish I´d really like to have again!

Not a big canned fish fan, but that looks real interesting. Great Pics.

That looks very good and I think that dish would work very good as a cold mid day meal for sure. In fact even as a morning meal it looks palatable if you had some crackers and tea, They sold a French canned meal here in the states similar to that but is was made with Salmon and after trying I felt it was first class
