Cleaning out down cellar... I decided I just have way too many of the 2006–2008 rations that the Capt.SIL gave me, and I'm just not eating enough of them up.
Mixed lot. I think they are all #13 to 24s. Stored cool. Tight bags. Every one I've eaten has been fine.
Just hate to see them go to waste.

... And of course I just heard from the kids that since they are moving to Dallas [SIL just finished at Haavaad Bidniz Sckool] they will be dropping off another couple cases of MREs...

The '08 is sold and PP paid as of today pending my checking the color seal indicator.
'07A and '09B FULL meals in banded cases still down cellar... 40° to 60° storage year round. I haven't seen any sign of deterioration in any meal I have opened.
There are also still quite a number '06 through '09 full rations out of cases. I need to audit them to figure out what's there, but they need to go as well.
