Is it possible to find more exotic rations, maybe humanitarian aid rations from other countries? I recall reading something about this a long time ago. I'd love to kno what they taste like, or where to get them (but not at the cost of depriving anyone in need of food!) Surplus if they have any.
You can check around Ebay, but the only non-military rations I've ever seen on there have all been from the US. I do recall seeing some type of ration on a Japanese web site that looked like a French RCIR marked for humanitarian relief - but that's the only time I've seen something like that.
Even here in the US, when it comes to hurricanes and other natural disasters, they seem to be distributing military MREs instead of other types of rations like HDRs or civilian MREs. If I had to guess, I'd say it's because they have more military MREs stocked up and ready for distribution than anything else.
