We are moving quite a bit off topic here, but:

"How stable is it? "- because the suspension points are considerably above the bed-lie it is very stable. The fore and aft support is from an inflatable mattress/pad in a sleeve. That's what prevents your head and feet from drooping. You get to pick your own brand, as long as it is the "pool pad" type with long tubes. [and the newest camping pads are waaaay much nicer than the old pool floats] The only difference/trade with a gathered-end hammock is that my motion is a front-to-back rocking one instead of the side-to-side sway.
Sleeping on this a pure joy. You can even side-sleep or lay on your stomach... can't do that too well in a standard hammock.

Like I said previously, if you are interested, go check out a few threads on "Hammock Forums".

[Mods- feel free to blow this outta the water if it has strayed too far offshore... It's just that people seem interested]

fun part was we had 2 early teen boys (aka, the pack mules ;) ) and we carried a bunch of spare MRE entrees and snacks. So, when they yelled they were hungry.... :D

Gotta get the next generation addicted...lol..
