"Sloppy joe" is hamburger in a type of sauce, like a barbecue sauce. If the sauce is good, then it is pretty good. Usually, it is made as a sandwich, here in the States.

A "Sloppy Joe" is a sandwich (typically on a hamburger bun) that's made up of ground beef and a tomato-based sauce. Here's a picture of the MRE entree from longlifefoods:

I don't know about a whole case of sloppy joe filling but maybe a few pouches would be fun to try out. :-)

And no, I haven't had a chance to try the Norwegian rations yet - kind of overdosed on MREs a while back (either that or it was that damn HDR).

Why not just try and find a supermarket in norway that sells cans of sloppy joe sauce. Or find a place to order it online, and mix it up with some ground beef. While I'm sure ground beef is more expensive there, sloppy joe's are the shit. Dunno about the MRE ones, I'm waiting for my lil' bro to open the case I got him for xmas to check em out. Finally gonna try my hotpockets this weekend, going camping.. w00t. Pix when I get back.

Norge, It's possible to OD on MRE's. But, depending on your situation, food is good. I've OD'ed on them a few times, and quit, but they always keep dragging back to Norf Caek-a-Lakeee.
