Hooah
On wednesday I spoke to a salesman of "The D'Andrea Brothers LLC". This is the company that makes HOOAH bars. (Very primitive name BTW.)
He told me the Army puts out the specifications of this food and then the D'Andrea company refines the bar by added/chanching little things like flavor and texture.
The guy gave me some samples of the bars and the drinks. The bars are Chocolat, Apple/CInnamon and Peanutbutter. The drinks are Lemon and Tropical Punch.
As this sales representative was so friendly to give me 15 samples of the bar and 10 of the drinks, I immediately put the stuff to the test!
The outcome is NOT to eat 3 bars at once. This is fairly 'heavy' food and your bowels need a little bit of time to adjust! LOL. Anyway, they tasted very GOOD. I have some experience with other type of energy bars too, but the Hooah is probably the best in my opinion. They are tasty and not very sweet, and they don't induce thurst. The same goes for the drinks.
In my humble opinion this is GOOD stuff.
