A question about Russian rations

Post by ToxicCarbon » Wed Nov 12, 2014 3:55 am

Can someone more knowledgeable that myself tell me the difference between these two Russian rations. Both are available from fleabay in Russia. I'm just curious as to whether they are both in use by the military or not

And this one:

Or am I looking at the same thing just in different packaging?

Cheers

I'm not sure, but the box may just be newer/different packaging. I snagged one of the bottom type a little over a year ago from a source that bought it at the commissary so I know that one's official. Top one has been as an IRP so I'm assuming that one's official too.

Both of these rations are the real military. A difference in that that they for a few different tasks. In the lower drawing the ration is delivered in special divisions which participate in performance of counterterrorist tasks in the North Caucasus at present, and what in the top drawing is delivered in usual military units. Differences are practically not present, except for that that different plants and structure of the menu make differs a little.
Dear forumites, upon purchase of rations I don't bear responsibility for passing by a parcel of customs authorities of the USA,Canada and other countries. You make all purchases at own risk. Please consider it at the order of rations
