Vegetable stew and Au Gratin potatos

Post by Norton » Mon Nov 03, 2014 9:48 pm

I went on a cold windy solo camping trip
So perfect time to try Ameriqual Vegetable stew for a nighttime meal. I had the Potatoes Au gratin and mixed fruit for desert.
Cooked everything boil in the bag and mixed the potatoes and Stew together.
My thoughts were the stew tasted different than the regular beef stew. Maybe less tomato base than the normal beef stew.
I saw small pieces of carrots, potatoes, peas and diced beef. The flavor alone was very good for pre-made stew.
The Au Gratin potatoes were very tasty, plenty of cheese and good solid texture. Not mushy or under-cooked.
Combined they made a very tasty filling meal.
Heated the mixed fruit the taste was not too sweet or gooey. The pieces were large
Would recommend this for a dinner anytime.

Ate MRE breakfast and will post a review latter
