Ebay #8803049592

Post by DangerousDave » Wed May 03, 2006 1:29 am

Hey Kman. Still here. Was just browsing thru Ebay and they're mostly BS listings. I came across this. Is this some UGR set or something?. Hamburgers and buns. I saw that on the US link, I think. At least the guy had the rocks to say that the lettuce and tomato slices were not included. :?: :?

Hey DangerousDave - do you have a link you can give us? Sounds like some guy selling hamburgers and buns as an MRE/UGR? Heh heh...I have a refridgerator full of stuff I'd be happy to call UGR and sell. :-)

I posted the ebay listing in the subject line. 8803049592. The guy has a couple more also. Noticed the DSCP subsistence site is being changed around or something also., regardless, 86 dollars? NOT

Here's the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8803049592

That almost looks like a picture from either Longlife Foods' website or beprepared.com's website. Either way...hamburgers and buns? WTF?

And by the way, DangerousDave - thanks for heads-up on the DSCP site. I gotta thank these guys for breaking all my links to them....again. At least this time they put in redirects so you eventually get pushed to the right URL.

Right now, it looks like they've just changed the back-end system for the website. Instead of having regular ol' .html files, they're now .asp files. Content still looks the same, though...for now.

Doesn't look like their site - that guy is selling lots of other non-food items.

Longlife should get on them for using their photo. It may make some think that it is Longlife selling their items on Ebay.

Now that I look at that image a little bit more closely, I can that's one big tomato slice!
