TASTE TEST: 1993 Cherry Nut Cake, Vintage M&M's

Got a box of old MRE stuff off of ebay for giggles.. got lots of stuff, too much to list.

I got a Cherry Nut Cake in the box

So, why not open it and give it a try?


pork sausage maple patty? nope, its a cherry nut cake.

I have it a try, and it was really good! tasted like it was just made! It had a good taste of cherries and sweetness. 10 out of 10! Even my aunt said it wasn't bad, which is a very high compliment!

I also got a pack of M&M's

And now.. for the most prettiest candy ever!

tasted like stale cocoa baking powder, and smelled like sweaty dog.
You have a pretty good idea of where it all ended up.

Cherry Nut Cake is one that I'd love to see returned to the list. It was fabulous. Ranks right up there with lemon poppyseed cake on my "yummies" list.
