Calamaris are ok...with or without ink.
In Puerto Rico both varieties are common but people like the canned ones better to make "Arroz con calamares" (rice with calamari), in some places in Latinamerica and Spain is called "Arroz Negro" or black rice.
It tastes good although the looks is not favorable....

In case any of you US guys are interested, there is an ebay seller for these things; http://cgi.ebay.com/CHEESEBURGER-IN-A-C ... 1|294%3A50

It's a little too pricey for me!

I saw one of these opened up on a site sometime within the last year. It was fairly scary just to look at.
I'll stick to the new spam slices in the retort pouch, thank you...

Now... One of the British canned steak and mushroom pies... hummmm?
I used to be able to get them all the time when I lived down In central Virginia. Of course that joint was actually called "Foods Of All Nations".
I'll have to look around.

Here's a review of one of those burgers by one of my favorite reviewers,

*opens crackers and a horrible, bleach scent fills the room*
"Not bad."
