Hello again!
Here is little review from Beef brisket.

Besides usual stuff this meal had nice commercial candies with it, Tootsie rolls.
Image
But first things first.
Main meal was veeeeeeeeeryyyyyyy tender meatslices in a mild smoke flavoured gravy, great taste!
Meat just melted in mouth, almost like pulled pork, Made from beef thou.

Not much in veggie sector....
With it goes mild tasting, wheat crumbling, strange shaped mystery block/bricket....

And what would mre be without crackers, crackers with all favourite cheesespread....

Dessert we have cookies and tootsie rolls as mentioned earlier.

Nice!
Haven't seen one of those biscuits before. I will check on my stocks to see if I have some.

I've got two or three of this meal. I've been hanging on to 'em waiting for good weather to come, so that I can actually eat them out in the woods.
Glad to know they're is good as I had heard.

Being a fan of real BBQ brisket, I was not enthralled the first time I had this one, but when taken on its own merits and not its resemblance to real smoked brisket it's pretty tasty.

Nice review! I'm waiting with anticipation to strike my first MRE with Tootsie Rolls.

We don't have them here in New Zealand, and that's half the fun of MREs for me - finding and tasting little slices of Americana :)

Kiwi-- that's funny that you would want TootsieRolls.
When I saw the line on the menus that indicated the candy might be toffee, I was hoping for hard candy stuff like Callard & Bowster's... Like you Brits and Colonials have.
I was super disappointed when I found out it was Tootsie Rolls.

I'm certainly not knocking tootsie rolls here, loved 'em as a kid and still do. That being said It would be waaaaaaay cool if the MRE manufacturers could/would dust off the "MCI toffee disc, chocolate covered" blueprints/recipes and bring that dessert item back---I mean think how easy it would be to package it without the space needed for the can that also had to hold the crackers! :P
