How hungry would you have to be?
I was watching some pre-recorded shows with my friends the other night and our casual discussion somehow shifted to when/if tshtf, what would you be willing to eat if you were hungry enough. I eat all sorts of seafood from shrimp to crabs so I don't think I'd really flinch at eating large spiders. I mean, look at these guys:
Nasty underwater bugs, but delicious! I'd bet if the hairs and guts were removed that larger spiders could end up fairly appetizing. Balut on the other hand... no way I'm trying that.
